This was a quick read (I was done in two days) but well worth it. Quality writing, and very thought provoking--making the reader question what it means to be sane, what the difference between normal and not normal really is. The narrator describes her internal thoughts and monologue with clarity--even though the thoughts themselves aren't clear. Though Plath's Bell Jar, which does a similar job, has a greater weight and resonance, I preferred this.
